Steller Sea Lion pups are born from late May until early July. Pups are about
3 feet in length and 35-50 lbs at birth
and rapidly grow to 65-90 lbs in 6-10 weeks. They are dark brown to black
until 4-6 months when they molt to a
lighter brown. Full grown males can be 10-11 feet in length and weigh up
to 2400 lbs.
