Stone's sheep range in the mountains of northern British Columbia with numbers
at approximately 14500. They also range in the Yukon with about 4000 animals located there.
Their habitat consists of rugged cliff and rocky areas below the snowline. They will also be found in
alpine meadows and grasslands above timberline.
