A ram eats minerals from the roadside in British Columbia.
The sheep's diet normally consists of grasses, broad leaf plants and dwarf
willows.
They will supplement their diet at mineral licks. Often in the winter months
when forage is
scarce they will add lichens to there diet. They traditionally move between
summer and winter ranges in search of food.
